The
National Credit Union
Administration (NCUA)
is the federal agency
that charters and
supervises federal
credit unions and
insures savings in
federal and most
state-chartered credit
unions across the
country. The
NCUA maintains a
database of credit
unions under its
jurisdiction, and can
be used to search for
individual credit
unions or for lists of
all credit unions
within a city or
state.
